 Belo Horizonte Studio has been a leader on the cutting edge of the quartz crystal business for over 30 years. Known for our rare and exceptionally high quality sculpted and natural pieces, we view our role as one of revealing the natural beauty of each crystal. Our gallery has a unique and large selection of different sizes and types of crystals and minerals. We have a deep love of crystals and take great joy in finding and sharing these remarkable treasures.
Each Gem Sculpture is cut and polished by master craftsman Jim Wickard to the highest standards of the lapidary art. Working with crystals for over 20 years, Jim uses custom equipment that he has personally designed. He has mastered and achieves a precision and final polish that is without comparison. Great thought and care is given to the presentation of the crystal and we often will create a custom base and lighting for each piece.
We have a great variety of extremely high quality quartz crystal clusters. These range from small pieces that you can hold in the palm of your hand to giants weighing thousands of pounds. They add a unique beauty and harmony to both indoor and outdoor spaces. The larger clusters also work wonderfully when transformed into fountains.
We carry many rare and unusual types of other crystals and minerals. This includes a great variety of amethyst caves, apophylites, rose quartz, celestite, aventurine, and fluorites. We have spheres made from many different minerals, including emerald, tourmaline, gold and green calcite, sodalite, malachite and charoite. Quartz spheres are also a specialty, and we have a very large selection of optical quality white and smoky quartz spheres, as well as spheres with rutile needles.
